The Botanical Garden of Naples is located in the center of the city, along the historic Via Foria and next to Palazzo Fuga. Its location is strategic also for those who want to visit the nearby National Archaeological Museum and the area of Via Duomo and the Decumani. The Botanical Garden promotes a culture of sustainability: we therefore recommended reachingit on foot or by public transport. The Garden is easily reached from the central railway station of Piazza Garibaldi, which is a 15-minute walk away, or by subway (Line 2 Cavour stop, from there 800 meters on foot towards Piazza Carlo III) or by city bus lines (201 and C47). By car, you may park (although with difficulty) along Via Foria or in nearby garages.

By train
For visitors arriving by train, the Central Station is located in Piazza Garibaldi. From there it is possible to walk to the Garden (Google route), to take the subway (Line 2 Cavour stop, from here 800 meters on foot towards Piazza Carlo III, or buses 201 and C47) or to reach the bus stop in front of the statue of Giuseppe Garibaldi and use the ATAN lines 203 or 254.

By plane
The Garden is not far from the Capodichino Airport; from there it is possible to use the shuttle service (Alibus) direct to Piazza Garibaldi, take a taxi or, after reaching Viale Umberto Maddalena, take a bus to Piazza Cavour.

By sea
Those arriving from the port areas can choose the most convenient connection depending on the port of arrival. From Mergellina it is possible to take the subway from the station of the same name (Line 2 Cavour stop, from here 800 meters on foot towards Piazza Carlo III, or buses 201 and C47). From the Maritime Station or Porta di Massa, it is recommended to take tram no. 1 to Piazza Principe Umberto, and then proceed on foot or with city bus lines no. 203, 245 and 202 or any other bus to Piazza Carlo III.

By car
Exit 4 "Corso Malta" of the Tangenziale highway is recommended, immediately turning right and thus reaching Piazza Carlo III after about 500 meters. Google route. Parking is possible along Via Foria within the blue lines, but we note again that it is difficult to find a spot after 10:00 am. As an alternative, you can use private parking garages in the area (external link).
